Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven public health policies aligned with King County's strategic goals
- Analyze complex health data to identify emerging trends and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Lead stakeholder engagement with community partners, healthcare providers, and government agencies
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for County Council review
- Oversee program evaluation frameworks to measure policy impact and ROI
- Mentor junior analysts and coordinate cross-departmental health initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government health policy analysis or related role
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative data analysis tools (SPSS, R, Tableau)
- Proven track record of developing successful health equity initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences
- Knowledge of Washington State public health regulations and funding structures
- Valid Washington State driver's license required
