Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate public health policies through quantitative analysis and stakeholder engagement
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives addressing health equity and social determinants of health
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for senior leadership
- Manage complex datasets using SAS/R to identify emerging health trends and vulnerabilities
- Coordinate with federal agencies and community partners to align health initiatives
- Present findings to legislative committees and public health coalitions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SAS/R) and health data visualization
- Demonstrated success in translating complex health data into actionable policy recommendations
- Strong understanding of Massachusetts public health infrastructure and regulations
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills with experience in legislative testimony
