Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based health policies aligned with Virginia's strategic goals and federal mandates
- Analyze complex healthcare data to identify trends and recommend actionable interventions
- Coordinate with federal/state/local agencies to implement public health programs
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefings and legislative testimony for executive leadership
- Manage stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers, community organizations, and advocacy groups
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ACA, and other regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or healthcare setting
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS)
- Demonstrated success in drafting health legislation or administrative regulations
- Expert knowledge of Virginia's healthcare landscape and federal/state programs
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record
