Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive public health program strategies aligned with state and federal initiatives
- Oversee program budgets exceeding $2M, ensuring fiscal accountability and optimal resource allocation
- Lead cross-departmental teams to coordinate disease prevention and health promotion activities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and program effectiveness
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to address health disparities and expand service accessibility
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and Arizona public health regulations
- Prepare detailed reports for legislative committees and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public health program management
- Proven expertise in grant writing and federal/state compliance (HRSA, CDC)
- Advanced proficiency in public health data analytics (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong background in community health assessment and intervention design
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and interagency collaborations
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and ability to travel statewide
- PHRP certification preferred
