Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic planning
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives with local healthcare providers and non-profit organizations
- Lead grant writing and reporting for public health funding opportunities
- Train and supervise junior public health staff and volunteers
- Collaborate with county officials to develop health policy recommendations
- Monitor program outcomes and prepare comprehensive impact reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Proficiency in epidemiological data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS)
- Demonstrated success in grant writing and management
- Experience developing health education materials for diverse populations
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of local public health systems and community resources
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
