- Analyze public sentiment and adjust messaging strategies accordingly
- Maintain compliance with public records and transparency laws
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field
- 5+ years of professional communications experience
- Proven experience in government or public sector communications
- Expertise in crisis communication and media relations
- Advanced writing and editing skills with portfolio samples
- Proficiency in digital analytics and social media management
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for events and emergencies
