Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policy issues and recommend data-driven solutions
- Collaborate with 15+ city departments on cross-functional initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs for Mayor's Office and City Council
- Manage $2M+ grant programs for community development projects
- Lead stakeholder engagement with public/private sector partners
- Monitor federal/state legislative changes affecting city operations
- Present findings to high-level government officials and community boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government/public sector experience
- Expertise in quantitative policy analysis methods
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in GIS software and statistical modeling tools
- Demonstrated success in municipal grant management
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
