Responsibilities
- Research and analyze municipal policies, regulations, and emerging trends affecting Dallas communities
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and actionable recommendations for City Council
- Collaborate with 15+ city departments to align strategic initiatives with public needs
- Manage $2M+ grant programs supporting housing, transportation, and sustainability projects
- Present findings to executive leadership and community stakeholders using data visualization
- Monitor legislative changes and assess potential impacts on city operations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in municipal government
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS mapping
- Proven track record of managing large-scale public projects
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Experience with Dallas-specific community engagement protocols
- Professional certification (PPA or ICMA) preferred
