Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and water systems
- Ensure compliance with Florida Department of Transportation regulations
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with contractors, agencies, and community stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments
- Maintain project documentation and reporting systems
- Lead emergency response for infrastructure failures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of public works engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS software
- Knowledge of FDOT standards and permitting processes
- Strong project management and budget oversight skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Valid Florida driver's license
