Responsibilities
- Execute heavy civil construction projects including road paving, sewer line installation, and bridge maintenance
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, asphalt pavers, dump trucks) with precision and safety protocols
- Perform complex concrete work, grading, and drainage system installations
- Conduct infrastructure inspections and emergency repairs during inclement weather
- Maintain accurate project documentation and equipment maintenance logs
- Mentor junior laborers on OSHA compliance and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of municipal construction or heavy civil labor experience
- Valid Pennsylvania Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement
- Certification in OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety
- Proficiency with GPS survey equipment and CAD blueprints
- Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Pennsylvania Water/Wastewater Operator certification preferred
