Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance software architectures using modern best practices and cloud technologies.
- Development & Maintenance: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Java, Python, or .NET, adhering to industry standards and security protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and government stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Code Review & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews and participate in the implementation of automated testing strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Innovation: Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance government efficiency.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience in a corporate or government environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end development. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
