Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance web applications using modern frameworks and cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure full compliance with federal security standards, including FedRAMP, NIST, and agency-specific security protocols.
- Collaborate closely with policy makers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews, perform architectural analysis, and mentor junior developers to maintain high engineering standards.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement scalable solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience in a federal environment).
- Active Top Secret security clearance with favorable adjudication history.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience within a government or highly regulated industry.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript (TypeScript preferred).
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of software security principles, OWASP guidelines, and secure coding practices.
