Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex software solutions and enterprise applications in alignment with state standards.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development teams.
- Conduct thorough system testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead and mentor junior analysts and developers, fostering a collaborative technical environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to identify process improvements and system enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with state cybersecurity policies, data privacy regulations, and IT governance frameworks.
- Document technical processes, code repositories, and system architecture for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or software development.
- Proven expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, or other relational database management systems.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and virtualization platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management lifecycles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government environment.
