Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT systems for various government departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Ensure all systems and data processes comply with federal, state, and local government regulations and standards.
- Conduct system performance testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure high availability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and support staff.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables within budget constraints using Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, preferably within a government or public sector environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, and modern web technologies.
- Deep knowledge of government procurement processes and data privacy laws (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
