Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and system requirements to define technical specifications for government projects.
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions and system integrations using modern technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and government stakeholders, to ensure project success.
- Oversee system testing, quality assurance, and deployment to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain and upgrade existing legacy systems to improve performance and security.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and developers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, and web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
- Experience working with government or public sector IT environments is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and IT security protocols.
