Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex software systems and application upgrades.
- Conduct thorough system testing, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including requirements, architecture diagrams, and process flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business units, to ensure project deliverables align with state standards.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party system integrations to ensure compliance and quality.
- Ensure all systems adhere to strict security protocols and New York State data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# and database technologies (SQL).
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (Azure or AWS) and containerization technologies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States.
- Valid New York State Driver's License required.
