Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions and system modifications to support state operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and government officials, to ensure project alignment.
- Maintain and optimize existing database systems, ensuring data integrity and security compliance.
- Perform system testing, debugging, and documentation of technical processes and procedures.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend innovative technology solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, .NET, or Python.
- Experience working within a government or public sector environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain a background check and adhere to state security protocols.
