Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications for system development and integration.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions and reporting systems to support agency operations.
- Conduct thorough system testing, quality assurance, and performance tuning to ensure zero downtime and high security.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to junior analysts and developers.
- Monitor system performance metrics and troubleshoot critical technical issues in real-time.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, architecture, or IT consulting, preferably within a government or large enterprise setting.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL).
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, software development life cycles, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and regulatory requirements.
