As a key member of our IT division, you will be responsible for ensuring high availability of systems, managing complex network architectures, and ensuring strict compliance with federal standards such as FedRAMP and NIST. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for Federal and State government applications.
- Ensure full compliance with federal security standards, including FISMA, DIACAP, and NIST guidelines.
- Oversee the configuration and management of cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure) for government agencies.
- Conduct system audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to safeguard sensitive data.
- Lead technical teams in troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues in a 24/7 environment.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to identify technical requirements and provide strategic IT solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering or IT infrastructure within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are strongly required.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and secure data transmission.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation (Public Trust/Secret Clearance).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
