Responsibilities
- Oversee multi-modal transportation planning projects including highways, transit, and pedestrian infrastructure
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize traffic flow and reduce congestion
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies for project alignment and compliance
- Lead community engagement sessions to gather public input on transportation initiatives
- Analyze transportation data using GIS and statistical modeling tools
- Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for senior leadership
- Manage project budgets and ensure timely delivery of all deliverables
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in transportation planning or project management
- Professional certification (AICP, PMP, or PE) preferred
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS) and transportation modeling tools
- Demonstrated experience with federal/state grant applications (FHWA, FTA)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
