Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and maintain security protocols during overnight hours
- Conduct regular perimeter checks and facility inspections to prevent contraband
- Respond to emergencies and incidents following established procedures

- Collaborate with day shift personnel for seamless transition of information
- Enforce facility rules and implement disciplinary measures when necessary
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain certification standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
- Basic computer literacy for report documentation
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Physical stamina to stand/walk for extended periods
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
