Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Manage high-volume incoming correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
- Data Management: Enter, verify, and maintain sensitive state records and databases using modern government software systems.
- Customer Service: Assist constituents and employees with inquiries regarding department policies, procedures, and services in a professional and courteous manner.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and organize meetings, prepare agendas, and take detailed minutes for executive staff.
- Compliance: Ensure all administrative activities comply with state regulations, confidentiality protocols, and safety standards.
- Office Operations: Oversee office supplies inventory and coordinate facility maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or Public Administration preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an administrative or office support role within a government or corporate setting.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and government case management software.
