Responsibilities
- Analyze Data: Gather, interpret, and analyze complex data sets to support government initiatives and policy development.
- Report Preparation: Draft comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations for legislative committees and executive leadership.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for public inquiries, ensuring clear and accurate dissemination of information.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all departmental operations adhere to state and federal regulations and funding requirements.
- Project Management: Oversee specific government projects from conception through implementation, tracking milestones and budgets.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in administrative processes and propose evidence-based solutions to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in government, public policy, or a related analytical sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with database management systems.
- Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Legal Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- License: Valid California Driver’s License and a clean driving record are preferred.
