Responsibilities
- Client Support: Receive and respond to inquiries from the public via telephone, email, and walk-in traffic in a professional and courteous manner.
- Service Delivery: Assist citizens with navigating complex government procedures, providing accurate information regarding local, state, and federal regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions, transactions, and client data using internal database systems.
- Problem Resolution: Identify issues and troubleshoot solutions for frustrated constituents, escalating complex cases to supervisors when necessary.
- Process Improvement: Assist in the development and implementation of new service protocols to enhance the customer experience.
- Compliance: Ensure all interactions adhere to strict government confidentiality and data privacy standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
