Responsibilities
- Perform daily facility maintenance, repairs, and janitorial duties to ensure state properties meet high standards.
- Assist in the logistics and distribution of essential supplies to various state departments.
- Interact with the public and state employees professionally to resolve inquiries and provide assistance.
- Adhere strictly to all state safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and emergency protocols.
- Complete daily shift reports and update inventory logs accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with project leads to execute daily tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Previous experience in public service, facilities management, or general labor is highly preferred.
- Must be available to work daily and demonstrate punctuality.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Valid California Driver’s License and current auto insurance are required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
