Responsibilities

- Ensure strict compliance with California State Government regulations, policies, and procedural standards.
- Analyze budgetary data and prepare financial reports to support state decision-making processes.
- Coordinate with local municipalities and federal agencies to facilitate intergovernmental projects.
- Conduct audits and inspections to verify the accuracy and integrity of state records and documentation.
- Maintain and update departmental databases to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting.
- Lead and mentor junior staff members to foster a culture of excellence and public service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a public sector or administrative role.
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government-specific software (e.g., Statewide Core Systems).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex state regulations and financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, professional documentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
