Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 technical support and troubleshooting for internal government systems and staff.
- Monitor server performance and network infrastructure to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
- Respond to and resolve IT service tickets and emergency alerts during the night shift.
- Perform routine maintenance, patch management, and security updates on servers and workstations.
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to document issues and implement solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with state and federal information security standards (e.g., NIST, HIPAA).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or network administration.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) and weekends as needed.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and common office software.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
