Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for state employees and citizens during weekend operations.
- Monitor server status, patch management systems, and network performance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Perform scheduled backups, data recovery procedures, and system maintenance tasks.
- Respond to help desk tickets and resolve hardware/software issues efficiently.
- Enforce data security protocols and conduct access audits for sensitive government records.
- Document all technical procedures and incident reports in the state service management system.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and standard office software.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as part of a rotating schedule.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid Georgia Driver's License and proof of residency.
