Responsibilities
- Process incoming tax returns and payments accurately and efficiently on a weekly schedule.
- Maintain precise financial records and prepare daily operational reports for state auditing.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding tax status, payments, and filing requirements.
- Operate office equipment, including scanners, computers, and telecommunications systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to state privacy laws and regulatory compliance protocols.
- Collaborate with team leads to improve workflow processes and service delivery.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in administrative support, customer service, or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident eligible for state employment.
