Responsibilities
- Policy Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis on proposed legislation to advise stakeholders on potential impacts and compliance requirements.
- Program Management: Oversee the lifecycle of state-funded programs, ensuring they meet federal and state regulatory standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for federal agencies, local municipalities, and the public, facilitating clear and effective communication.
- Budget Administration: Prepare, monitor, and report on complex budgets for departmental operations and grant funding.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all agency activities adhere to local, state, and federal laws, including ADA and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government operations, public policy, or a related administrative role.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of state and federal government processes, grant management, and legislative procedures.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with government database systems.
- Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent government leadership training is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
