Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security patrols of the facility and perimeter to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials of all visitors and personnel entering the premises.
- Respond immediately to alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations following established protocols.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities and observations.
- Enforce state and departmental policies, rules, and regulations to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist in the coordination of emergency response procedures and drills.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must possess a valid Class C Texas Driver's License.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure during night hours.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
