Responsibilities
- Manage and update government databases and records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide exceptional customer service to DC residents, businesses, and visitors regarding state programs.
- Assist in the preparation and review of weekly operational reports and budget allocations.
- Conduct routine inspections and compliance checks to ensure adherence to state regulations.
- Coordinate with interdepartmental teams to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
- Answer inquiries regarding state policies, procedures, and employee benefits.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for public records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in public administration, customer service, or office support.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to pass a standard background check and obtain a government security clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on diplomacy and professionalism.
- Must be eligible to work legally in the United States.
