Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) for state agencies.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
- Provide technical support to government employees and the public.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state cybersecurity standards.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade technology infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with government IT security protocols and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced government environment.
