Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring adherence to SDLC standards.
- Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering clear communication and collaboration to drive project success.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Implement Agile and Waterfall methodologies, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Ensure compliance with state procurement regulations, federal guidelines, and agency security policies.
- Report project status to senior leadership and executive stakeholders with clear, actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the government or public sector.
- Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and CRM tools.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon for diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale technology implementations.
