Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration and processing of pension benefit claims and requests.
- Review and verify pension documentation for accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
- Maintain and update participant records within the state pension database.
- Communicate with retirees and beneficiaries regarding plan inquiries and status updates.
- Support the preparation of internal audits and compliance reports.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a standard background check.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with high volumes of data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
