Responsibilities
- Process and verify complex pension claims and benefit calculations with a 99% accuracy rate.
- Perform high-speed data entry and system updates during the designated night shift hours (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Review and reconcile discrepancies in employee records and retirement accounts.
- Ensure strict adherence to state and federal government compliance regulations and internal audit standards.
- Communicate with beneficiaries and internal departments to resolve pending issues efficiently.
- Utilize automated pension software to maintain up-to-date beneficiary information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or government finance.
- Must be available to work night shifts and weekends as required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and pension management systems.
