Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system development and integration.
- Design, develop, and test software solutions to enhance agency operations and data management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct system audits, performance tuning, and security reviews to maintain system integrity.
- Train end-users and provide technical support for newly implemented systems and applications.
- Document technical processes and maintain up-to-date system documentation.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Java, or Python programming languages.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and security compliance.
- Ability to obtain a background check as required for state employment.
