Responsibilities
- Design and oversee highway, bridge, and transit infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and safety standards
- Manage project budgets and timelines using advanced engineering software
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze transportation data
- Coordinate with contractors, municipalities, and stakeholders
- Prepare technical reports and engineering specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and interns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Experience with TxDOT standards and procedures
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Familiarity with federal transportation funding programs
