Responsibilities
- Design and oversee highway, bridge, and traffic infrastructure projects
- Analyze traffic data and develop transportation improvement plans
- Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and government agencies
- Ensure compliance with federal/state transportation regulations
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Review engineering plans and provide technical guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and traffic modeling software
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and procedures
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to work in field conditions and travel statewide
