- Coordinate with emergency services and maintenance crews during incidents
- Implement temporary traffic control measures for weekend construction zones
- Analyze traffic flow data to optimize weekend travel corridor management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of transportation engineering experience
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification
- Proficiency in traffic control plan development and implementation
- Ability to work independently in field environments during weekends
- Experience with traffic monitoring software (e.g., Caltrans TRIMMS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate field equipment safely
