Responsibilities
- Manage multi-million dollar highway construction projects from conception to completion
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and government agencies
- Ensure compliance with federal/state transportation regulations
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance reviews
- Prepare progress reports and stakeholder communications
- Lead risk mitigation and contingency planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of transportation project management experience
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record with TxDOT projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of FHWA and TxDOT regulations
- Experience with project management software (MS Project, Primavera)
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under urgent timelines with minimal supervision
