We're seeking a Transportation Infrastructure Specialist to lead critical infrastructure projects in the rapidly growing Fort Worth metropolitan area. You'll collaborate with state agencies, local municipalities, and private contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation networks that serve over 2.1 million North Texans.
Responsibilities
- Oversee design and implementation of major highway/bridge rehabilitation projects
- Conduct traffic impact studies and recommend infrastructure improvements
- Manage multimodal transportation planning initiatives (road, rail, bike, pedestrian)
- Coordinate with federal/state/local agencies for compliance with transportation regulations
- Analyze transportation data to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities
- Lead public outreach sessions for community engagement
- Prepare and manage project budgets exceeding $10M
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years experience in transportation infrastructure project management
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D) and GIS systems
- Demonstrated experience with federal/state transportation grant programs
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
