Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels along assigned routes using postal vehicles
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and regulations
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report discrepancies
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic laws
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with inquiries
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and safety checks
- Work in all weather conditions and walk extended distances
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for prolonged periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and reporting
