Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on highways, bridges, and traffic control systems
- Operate specialized equipment including snow plows, sweepers, and lane-closing devices
- Respond to weekend emergencies including weather events and traffic incidents
- Conduct infrastructure inspections and document maintenance activities
- Collaborate with weekend shift teams for coordinated infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with federal and state transportation safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of infrastructure maintenance or construction experience
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Basic proficiency with maintenance tracking software
