Responsibilities
- Manage multimodal transportation projects including highways, bridges, and public transit initiatives
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, and consultants
- Analyze traffic data and infrastructure needs to inform project prioritization
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation and progress reports
- Implement sustainable transportation solutions aligned with state climate goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of transportation project management experience
- P.E. (Professional Engineer) license required
- Proficiency in transportation modeling software (TransCAD, VISSIM)
- Demonstrated experience with federal/state procurement processes
- Strong budget management skills for multimillion-dollar projects
- Excellent stakeholder communication and conflict resolution abilities
