Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray and baggage screening equipment to detect prohibited items
- Conduct passenger screening including pat-downs and metal detector operations
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to suspicious activities
- Enforce TSA security protocols with professionalism and customer service
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records
- Collaborate with law enforcement during security breaches
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours)
- Proficient in English (reading/writing/speaking)
