Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for threats using X-ray equipment and metal detectors.
- Identify prohibited items, including explosives and weapons, and intercept them immediately.
- Provide exceptional customer service to travelers, including those with special needs or accessibility requirements.
- Enforce security regulations and procedures consistently and professionally.
- Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions during screening shifts.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to maintain a secure and efficient checkpoint environment.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a medical examination and demonstrate good physical health.
- Excellent vision (correctable) and the ability to distinguish colors.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
