As a Security Screener, you will be responsible for:
- Screening passengers and carry-on baggage for prohibited items using X-ray machines and metal detectors.
- Operating and maintaining screening equipment in accordance with TSA regulations and protocols.
- Interacting professionally with travelers while enforcing security directives firmly and courteously.
- Identifying and resolving security threats or irregularities quickly and accurately.
- Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive motions as required by the screening process.
- Collaborating with fellow officers to ensure a smooth and secure airport environment.
Qualifications:
- United States Citizenship is required.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and stand for 8 hours or more.
- Good vision (with or without correction) and the ability to distinguish colors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- No criminal record (subject to background check).

Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Physical ability to stand for long durations, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Good color vision and ability to distinguish between different types of materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
