Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on luggage, and cargo using X-ray machines and advanced detection technology
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections to identify prohibited items
- Maintain security checkpoints and respond to potential threats with calm professionalism
- Operate TSA equipment including trace detection portals and explosive detection systems
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Valid government-issued photo ID and Social Security card
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- No felony convictions or recent employment gaps (past 10 years)
- Must complete TSA training academy within 90 days of hire
