Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and CT scanners to screen passengers and baggage
- Conduct thorough physical pat-downs and bag searches following TSA protocols
- Analyze security monitor feeds to identify potential threats or suspicious items
- Enforce security procedures while maintaining courteous interactions with travelers
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations or threat escalations
- Participate in continuous training on new security technologies and procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid Social Security Number
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Proficient in English with strong written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ pounds
- Must pass TSA Pre-Check and security clearance requirements
- Experience in customer service or security preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
